Mine is the Night

Mine Is the Night by Liz Curtis Higgs was an amazing read! I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end. As a busy mom, I was constantly trying to figure out ways to work my time so I could get back to read my book. This retelling of the story of Ruth was set in Scotland. Elisabeth and Marjory Kerr moved back to Marjory’s homeland ashamed and penniless. The story had twists and turns that kept me fascinated from start to finish. Even though it was patterned after the story of Ruth, it still kept me interested and the plot was not spoiled by that at all. It is definitely a must read in my book, and I know I will read it again and pass it on to my friends.
